Lee J. Hunter, Attorney at Law P.L.L.CLee. J. Hunter is an experienced litigator specializing in the fields of personal injury litigation; all areas of Chancery court practice, including domestic relations and wills and estates; and criminal defense.

Mr. Hunter is a life long resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Mr. Hunter earned his B.A. from Mississippi State University in 1997. Mr. Hunter received his Juris Doctorate degree from the Mississippi College School of Law in 2001, graduating Cum Laude. Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Hunter entered into private practice with a respected local law firm where he practiced for ten years before opening his own firm in December of 2012.

During his career, Mr. Hunter has been actively engaged in litigation practice and has served as the Prosecutor for the City of Pascagoula, as well receiving appointments as a Special Prosecutor for the 19th Judicial District. Mr. Hunter has served as President of the Jackson County Bar Association and as President of the Jackson County Young Lawyer’s Association. Mr. Hunter is admitted to practice before all State and Federal Courts in Mississippi, as well as the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. He is member in good standing of the Mississippi Bar Association, American Bar Association, and American Association of Justice.

Mr. Hunter resides in Ocean Springs, Mississippi, with his wife, Kelly Pendergrass Hunter, and their five children. Mr. Hunter is a member of First Presbyterian Church of Pascagoula.
